Mr Amirudin Abdul Ghani

Mr.
Amirudin started his
aviation career as a trainee aircraft engineer with Air New Zealand in
1975. In 1980, he became a certifying Licensed Aircraft
Engineer
with Malaysia Airlines.
He
resigned from the airline in
1985 to serve with the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Malaysia.
By the time he left for the private sector in 1993, he was
DCA's
Senior Assistant Director.
Over
the years, he held several
senior managerial positions such as the General Manager of SME Aviation
Sdn Bhd, from which he oversaw the inital set-up and production of the
first light aircraft manufacturing project in Malaysia. He
was
also the General Manager of Asia Pacific Airlines Training Academy as
well as the Technical Advisor for the initial set-up of the domestic
operations of Asia Pacific Airlines.
He
was also the Project
Evaluator for the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation's
Flarecraft project, and the Project Consultant to the Clark Aerospace
Maintenance Centre (a Malaysian company based in the Philippines).
Appropriately,
with his tremendous corporate and international experience, he decided
to form his own companies: Aero Precision Consultants in
1994,
the Aero Precision Resources Sdn Bhd in 1997 and Aero Precision
Multimedia Sdn Bhd in 1999 and later incorporated the training division
of APR into APR-Aviation Training Centre Sdn Bhd as a dedicated
training institution in 2005.
Presently,
Mr Amirudin is the Managing Director of APR Group of companies and
CEO/Accountable Manager for APR-Aviation Training Centre Sdn Bhd.
He manages a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable
instructors
providing aviation courses to the aviation industry.
